PRAGUE
During school holidays in Finland I went to Prague with Chloe Myotte who is with me in Kajaani to join friends who are ESDES Erasmus in this city.
I went from 3 March to 14 March. Prague is a very large city compared to Kajaani. I did not the habit of being in the city centre with lots of things to do no matter the time of day.
Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic. Prague is located in the middle of central Europe. There are 1,273,000 people (2011 data).
We visited many things of this beautiful city. We were very lucky because we had the sun most of the journey.
The currency is the Czech crown, we feel like a lot of money as € 1 is equal to 24 Czech crowns.
Another friend, who is in Erasmus in Dublin also joined us.
There were many student ESDES but it was very nice to all be together again.
Trams are very strange in Prague, it seems they are very old.
We saw the iconic "Charles Bridge" where we have a beautiful view of the city.
The architecture of the buildings is really impressive, it may be next to the ancient buildings with new buildings. But that's what makes the charm of this city.
We went to the beautiful views, with a view of the whole city.
And we also went to the famous museum called the "John Lennon Wall".
We tasted the specialty of the Czech Republic: Goulash but their favourite snack is the Tredlenik.
Thank you Léa for your welcoming and was us having stayed in Prague because it was a great holiday!
